Common Questions, answered!

What artwork do I need?

There are two types of artwork; Vector (EPS, ai. pdf) and Raster (Jpeg, png. tif)

Vector artwork is infinitely scalable, while raster artwork has a set amount of pixels. If you’re using raster artwork, we recommend that your image be at least 300 pixels per inch (PPI).

Vector files are therefore optimal.

Our preferred file type is EPS. EPS stands for Encapsulated PostScript. An EPS file can contain text as well as graphics. If you place an order with artwork lower than 300 PPI we will attempt to redraw it from scratch if it is simple.

However, if your artwork is especially complex, we will contact you to request a higher quality version. If you are unable to obtain a higher quality version of your artwork, we offer a logo recreation service for £39.99, this will allow you to store these files for future projects too.

Can I see a proof before ordering?

All orders receive a free online proof within 4 hours of sending over your high res artwork. Changes will be made to your proof for free until you’re happy. These visual proofs will be used as a reference for production. These proofs are not to be used for promotional purposes. If you would like to use our digital proofs for your ecommerce photography, they can be purchased, £7.99 per month for 12 months – these are then yours to keep and use as required!

Am I able to get a printed sample before ordering in bulk?

You can order a sample of a printed men’s stringer vest to inspect the quality of the garment, shape and fabric.

The sample is screen printed with a previous production run design for you to inspect the print method and our quality.

For bulk screen printing, the majority of the cost is in the setup and it is not economical to supply one-off production samples for orders under our 100 unit minimum.

What is your minimum customer printed order?

The minimum custom order is our Lean Pack which is 100 items made up of our core range. Minimum of 20 units per item type (tee, hoodie etc).

Can I mix and match the garments in one of your starter bundles?

Yes, of course. A minimum of 20 per garment must always be ordered. It’s up to you how you mix and match beyond that. You could have 100% of one product, a 50% split or 25% of four different products as long as a minimum 20 of each item is met.

Can I mix and match garment & ink colors?

Yes. You may mix garment colours as long as the ink colours are the same. Changing ink colours may incur additional fees.

Can I mix shirt sizes & do I need to order in dozens?

You can order as many different sizes as you want and you there are no minimums per size in any of our garments.

What is the standard screen size?

Our maximum print area is 18” x 23”.

What is your turnaround time?

Typical turnaround time is 7-15 business days + shipping time. Turnaround time is only an estimate, is not guaranteed and starts when your order is paid for AND we have all information to complete your new clothing line. Complex designs or orders with extra add-ons may increase turnaround time. Allow for at least 3 additional days for interior printed tags.

The most up-to-date turnaround time will be given to you. If you have a deadline for your order, you must let us know when placing your order and you can pay for the Jump up the Printing Queue service. Any circumstances out of our control (ie: weather delays, shipping errors by the supplier, etc.) may also require more time and are not factored into the initial turn around time estimate.

What kind of garments are they anyway?

All garments are designed and sourced directly by the GymFuse team from start to finish. We wanted to create garments that weren’t standardised off the shelf garments but provide aesthetic appeal keeping pace with industry demands. Fully traceable back to source and quality assured.

Is there any GymFuse branding in the garments?

No, zero. We understand the importance to some of production anonymity and therefore have no branding in our garments whatsoever. This way, your customers will assume they are manufactured at source by you! But if you’d like to offer transparency, please feel free – we love to share success stories and build lasting business relationships.

Why do you only have five products?

We wanted to keep it simple. To be able to provide certainty, something you seldom get with manufacturing, it appears to be a universal truth. To know what you’re getting and when you’re getting it. We started with the elusive stringer vest and asked our audience to decide the next four product releases.

How can I personalise my garments?

Screen printing, inside neck tag printing and eCommerce poly bagging.

What is inside neck tag printing?

Your logo with or without wash care instructions screen printed within the inside of the neck of each garment just below the hem to add that premium touchpoint for your customer. This service is not available on our women’s high-waisted leggings.

What is eCommerce poly bagging?

This is a clear resealable bag made of polythene. You will have seen these from other online retail purchases you may have made yourself. These are all plain and clear, they cannot be customised. We have a plastic tax on these and therefore 25 pence of all poly bags used will be donated the Plastic Soup Foundation.

Do you offer a bespoke service?

We do not offer a bespoke service, only white label. We store our products within our facility in Kings Norton, Birmingham. We then have three personalisation offerings to choose from; screen printing, inside neck tag printing and eCommerce poly bagging.
